Information For Patrons not Stallholders The entrance will also be different from previous years, vehicles will need to enter from Addington village road a separate entrance will be open for patrons. The car park on site will open at 8am, please do not turn up before this time as queuing cars will be turned away by the Police. This event costs a considerable amount to run and we have to charge a fee of £1 for parking to help cover our costs. Please do not park on the roads around the event, as this adds to congestion, we have a TMO (parking enforcement to help traffic flow) on these roads and clear warnings will be put on the lampposts by the Council, avoid a fine and park on site or take the Tram or Bus the terminal is just over the road from the park - the Addington Village stop - Trams will be running every 15 mins all day. Please note all profits will be going to Radio Mayday Croydon's Hospital Radio service, a registered Charity. All of the 40 staff we have on the day donate their time for free. We would like to thank Croydon Rotary Club Jubilee for their valued support in stewarding the vehicles.

Stallholders (Booters) Important information Please read even if you have been to our event for many years. We expect four/five thousand people at this event and it now includes Croydon’s biggest boot fair, because of the scale of this event we have had to implement some changes. This year we are changing the way ALL cars will be entering the park, this is to solve a couple of major issues we have had over the last few years due to the volume of traffic from stallholders and patrons. ALL stallholders should enter through the lower part of the park, using Addington Village road, signs will be in place to direct vehicles to the new entrance. The gates will open from – 7am for set up, please do not turn up before this time, as queuing cars will be turned away by the Police because of the serious traffic issues our event causes to the roads for miles around the area. Please be aware that traffic management of vehicles outside the park is not under our control on the day, this falls under the remit of the Police. Vehicles will be parked nose to bumper down the park, we have 10 stewards parking vehicles this year, we are also marking the park out with white lines to speed up the process, vehicles are to park either side of the white lines. As usual, allocation of a space cannot be made before the event; a steward will direct you to your location. |
